Job Description:
The Senior Program Manager plays a critical role in driving strategic change initiatives across the organization. This position entails leading large-scale, complex programs from conception through completion, ensuring they align with and advance the organization's strategic goals. The Senior Program Manager provides visionary leadership, optimizes resource utilization, and oversees the definition and tracking of KPIs to measure program success. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to influence and collaborate with executive leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of accountability for all project management activities
- Plan, monitor, and assign work activities for team personnel, ensuring accurate and complete records for all staff working under the task order
- Draft, review, and execute required project documents, including briefings, point papers, and meeting minutes
- Ensure alignment with the client’s implementation schedule and provide oversight for task areas such as document management and contract performance reporting
- Submit Status Reports, summarizing completed efforts, deliverables, and anticipated work
- Develop and execute a comprehensive stakeholder engagement plan, ensuring accurate collection, verification, and monthly updates of stakeholder information
- Coordinate closely with client and other relevant parties to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
- Provide and implement a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tool to manage stakeholder information, ensuring compliance with government data protection standards
- Collaborate with client to facilitate tool approval
- Collaborate with multiple departments to update the content on client’s internal digital platforms
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience in leading large-scale, complex initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of project management software and tools
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizen
Preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or equivalent certifications is a plus.
- Change Management certifications (e.g., Prosci Change Management Certification) are desirable.
- Previous Federal Consulting Experience
