Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative with a focus on the Light Steel Frame industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales by providing technical expertise, building strong client relationships, and offering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to communicate effectively with engineers, architects, contractors, and builders, ensuring our products are positioned as the top choice in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote light steel frame systems to key stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and engineers to increase product adoption.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, clearly explaining product benefits, technical features, and applications.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including product specifications, installation guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met in terms of quality, customization, and delivery.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, technological developments, and competitor offerings in the light steel framing sector.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company products.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Achieve sales targets and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and market penetration.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Sales experience in the construction industry or in scale-ups.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills to handle customer inquiries and close deals effectively.
  • Self-motivated, well structured, with a strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Native French or Dutch speaking
  • Proficient in English in writing and speaking.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the construction industry.
  • A well-established network within the construction or light steel framing industry is a significant advantage.
