Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology function and drive the next phase of growth for our FinTech/RegTech/SaaS company. With extensive experience in scaling technology platforms and managing large, high-impact teams, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shaping technology vision, executing complex strategies, and delivering transformative solutions. As CTO, you will be instrumental in defining our technological direction, overseeing large-scale product development, and ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports our ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Technology Vision and Leadership:
    • Define and articulate a clear technology vision that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and drives significant growth in the fintech/regtech/SaaS sectors.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports long-term business goals, including scaling products, enhancing customer experiences, and expanding market reach.
    • Drive innovation and technological advancement, ensuring the company remains a leader in the industry through cutting-edge solutions and visionary leadership.
  • Large-Scale Product Development and Management:
    • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale technology products, from conceptualization and design to deployment and continuous improvement.
    • Lead the development of complex, high-performance technology platforms that address market needs, customer demands, and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement robust processes for product management, ensuring efficient delivery, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Technology Infrastructure and Operations Management:
    • Manage and optimize the company’s technology infrastructure, including cloud services, data management, cybersecurity, and IT operations, to support scalable and reliable solutions.
    • Ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of technology systems, maintaining high performance and reliability as the company grows.
    • Develop and enforce technology policies, procedures, and best practices to drive operational excellence and mitigate risks.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure that technology solutions and operations comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards, particularly within the Fintech and Regtech domains.
    • Stay ahead of regulatory changes and industry trends, adapting technology strategies to maintain compliance and address emerging risks.
    • Oversee the creation and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard operations.
  • Leadership of Large, High-Impact Teams:
    • Lead and mentor a large, diverse technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
    • Build and manage technology teams across various functions, including development, operations, and cybersecurity, to support large-scale projects and initiatives.
    • Drive talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure the technology team is equipped to meet the company’s evolving needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    • Serve as the primary technology liaison to internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication on technology initiatives, progress, and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with other departments and executive leadership to align technology efforts with broader business objectives and strategies.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, enhancing the company’s profile and thought leadership in technology.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Extensive experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role within the fintech, regtech, or SaaS sectors, with a proven ability to scale technology platforms and manage large teams.
    • Demonstrated success in leading complex technology initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering large-scale product solutions that significantly impact business growth.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree or advanced certifications in technology management (e.g., MBA, PMP, CISSP) preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Deep expertise in technology strategy, product development, and infrastructure management, particularly within fintech/regtech/SaaS.
    • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with experience managing large teams and driving technology-driven business outcomes.
    • Proficiency in managing large-scale technology projects, including cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
