Product Specialist / Sales Support & Marketing, Neuromodulation (m/f/d)

Location: Poland (remote)

Position Summary

The Product Specialist Neuromodulation provides to the sales team effective technical and marketing support to contribute to sales objectives in the assigned country/geography. He/She contributes to the development and the execution of the sales strategy and sales target in the region, the general development and expansion of the business in the assigned geography, and the execution of the marketing plan in line with the marketing strategy.

General Responsibilities

  • Be a support to the local sales force and customers in different countries in the region: product- and user-trainings, technical support, operating room presence and support, follow-up support etc.
  • Develop a good level of clinical and technical expertise on VNS Therapy, to be seen as an expert and a source of information and advice in respect of account management, customer relationships and technical knowledge
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders in the region
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director and support-functions to develop strategies and support the penetration of VNS Therapy in the assigned markets
  • In collaboration with the Sales Director and Medical Affairs, support the development of key opinion leaders (KOL´s)
  • Act as a link between Livanova, the distributors, and customers in the assigned region, to ensure alignment between local needs/projects and European projects
  • Help to adapt European programs and communication materials to meet local needs and ensure compliance with local regulations. (translations, regulations etc.)
  • Facilitate the training of sales teams on the use of materials, messages, tools and marketing campaigns
  • Organize, support, and execute local awareness and training programs for healthcare professionals on VNS Therapy (Peer to Peer, Symposium, Workshops, etc.) and ensure their follow-up
  • Set up, coordinate, and monitor the organization of events and meetings, local or national, in conjunction with the organizing stakeholders. Manage organizational and logistical aspects where needed.
  • Drive and promote, in collaboration with the local sales team, the awareness of VNS therapy for drug-resistant epilepsy to support new business and to achieve the company´s objectives
  • Ensure that all local regulatory and compliance laws are adhered to and implemented.
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of sales, market intelligence and other developments amongst competitors, passing relevant information on to the appropriate company staff
  • Accurately complete all required trainings, reports and forecasts in line with the company policy and deadlines

Skills and Experience

  • Similar experience in biomedical engineering / sales / marketing
  • High level of integrity, work ethic and tact
  • Team spirit and an ability to work with remote colleagues
  • Engaged: high work commitment and motivation. Showing perseverance and attention to detail
  • Solution oriented: natural ability to respond to and control unexpected situations, and take initiatives to implement the best solution

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, Polish language to support the direct Polish team and market
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Driving license necessary
  • The role requires presence in the field, therefore flexibility and commitment to travel to various countries on business related activities. Travel time can reach up to 85 %, depending on the period
