THE ROLE
We are actively looking for a future Field Education Store Manager. You will be the “face” of the Wella Company for CosmoProf and Sally Beauty Stores. This includes all Wella Company Beauty Brands (Wella Professional, Wella Color Charm, Clairol Professional, Sebastian Professional, NIOXIN, OPI, and ghd)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of these brands in all stores by:
- #1—Strategically planning and executing Education for their customers (Stylists and Consumers) and store staff for a Diamond or Platinum store focus.
- Priority of zoning for territory with a focus on Diamond & Platinum stores.
- #2 Ensuring Best In Class Store Execution through Store Visits and assessing Out of Stocks
- Leads joint business plans with DM’s store partners to grow store business.
- Attend Manager Meetings and facilitate training.
- Strengthens loyalty of our brands with store personnel to encourage sell-through.
- Partners with Stores to leverage Education as a key customer business driver.
- Create open communication with stores that are out of stock to gather feedback and share solution opportunities.
- Partner with Stores to drive customer loyalty and new customer acquisition by leveraging Education touchpoints, assets & resources.
- Coach and mentor Brand Educators (BE) when necessary to deliver “Best in Class” Education to CosmoProf.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute “Best in Class” Education to CosmoProf.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute “Best in Class” Demo days & sales days to CosmoProf.
- Maintains accurate reporting, expenses, itineraries, or other requested written reports.
- Plan for, track, and fully use all assigned budgets within targets.
QUALIFICATIONS
Craft:
- Minimum 3 years salon experience
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrating, teaching, or presentation experience
- Valid Cosmetology license
- Mastery of technical knowledge relating to the professional beauty industry, including color, cutting, and finishing.
Educate/Inspiration:
- Strong presentation skills
- Develop and maintain productive relations with others and build trusting relationships with business partners.
- In touch with trends, current thinking, and new news within the beauty industry.
- Ability to energize, engage, and enable peers, sales team, BEs, and Stores
Business/Management:
- Able to successfully plan and manage their own time/zone/route.
- Ability to set clear expectations and hold others accountable.
- Is versatile, can adjust to fit with changing situations and manage ambiguity.
- Goes beyond accepted ideas; finds new improvement opportunities; generates ways to get better results.
- Ability to travel overnight 50% to 75% of the time
Desirable:
- Spanish Speaking
- Live close to a major airport.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and long hours.
- Ability to lift and transport education presentation materials, sample cases, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel) and Apple (iPad/apps)
- Professional and fashionable image
- Valid driver's license, vehicle proof of insurance, and ability to travel long distances for extended periods.
- Credit history/score strong enough to retain a Wella Travel Expense Card
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: <71,900-95,950 K > salary per year. Other rewards may include an annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
