Responsibilities:

Serve as technical lead and project manager working with clients in the evaluation of nature and biodiversity related impacts, risks and opportunities, conducting financial impact analysis and reporting according to TNFD recommendations and CSRD regulations
Advise and manage nature-related projects including the design and development of biodiversity baselines, monitoring and data systems
Designing business practices and nature-based solutions projects contributing to no net loss and net gain for nature
Support development of nature and biodiversity strategy and action planning, and modeling and setting of science-based targets
Support the evaluation and development of nature-based solutions projects for clients
Communicate with clients, ERM teams, and subcontractors (when applicable)
Mentor junior and mid-level staff in the proper planning and execution of projects, and in directing or conducting independent technical reviews of deliverable work products
Support the general growth and development of ERM’s emerging nature and biodiversity strategy services
Collaborate with other ERM practitioners to execute nature and sustainability projects
Collaborate with our Sustainability Strategy & other practice areas to provide integrated solutions to our clients
Actively support cross selling of other services to existing clients

Job Requirements:

Master’s degree in science, engineering, environmental science, natural resources management, or other relevant disciplines
Experience in sustainability and or nature and biodiversity related consulting or a related industry position
Experience and confidence to lead and grow business in a dynamic market environment
Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, analyze and synthesize diverse qualitative and quantitative data and information
Ability to work well with a range of stakeholders, including diverse project teams and client contacts
Excellent verbal and written language skills in both German and English are essential.
