You will deliver of a wide range of cartographic solutions in a contemporary work environment to business units across the Department of Resources. You will be part of a diverse state-wide team providing specialist spatial support and technical advice for Queensland Government.

About The Role

In this role you will:

  • Provide spatial and mapping support within agreed timeframes and specifications.
  • Enhance spatial solutions by reviewing existing workflows, products, deliverables and by supporting our culture that encourages innovation and growing capability.
  • Provide strategic spatial advice, direction and proactive education to enable an appreciation of geospatial practices in accordance with government initiatives and objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture stakeholder partnerships considering current and expected future demand for services.
  • Maintain contemporary knowledge and understanding of geospatial trends and sound knowledge of client business requirements.

This Position Requires

  • A university degree from a recognised tertiary institution or overseas qualification recognition as stated in the Mandatory Requirements section.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
