Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner (PO) to join our DevOps team. The successful candidate will be responsible for treating our infrastructure as a product, and serving the needs of all technical teams across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Kubernetes, as well as the ability to drive change management and align infrastructure with business objectives using the Scrum framework.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Define, prioritize, and manage the infrastructure product backlog, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and the needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., DevOps, Backend, Fronend, Legal, etc.) to gather requirements, understand challenges, and define infrastructure solutions that support their objectives.
  • Scrum & Agile Practices: Lead the DevOps team as PO using Scrum methodology, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure continuous delivery and improvement.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise: Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions, with a focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement processes to manage infrastructure changes in a controlled and structured manner, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure products, processes, and changes. Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance infrastructure efficiency, scalability, and security. Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and best practices.


Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.


• Experience:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role in managing cloud infrastructure products.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (especially AWS), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, gitops, and related technologies.
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a track record of successful product deliveries.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and tools.
