Your missions

We're doing search work on behalf of the CAO at an Annuities carrier in Texas who’s looking to add an Assistant Controller to the team. Scope of the role is around investment accounting/reporting. It reports to the Controller, has a team size of between 10-15 and the emphasis in terms of the skill set/experience that’s needed is around public accounting with investment accounting and insurance experience. Compensation is open but will reflect the market.

Good time to come in and be part of this visible management team that’s scaling up the finance organization to support what’s been hyper growth with this carrier’s Annuities and PRT businesses. Close working relationship with the CAO and CFO. The carrier is tracking towards a $250BB balance sheet and is backed by a large asset manager. Lot’s going on with this asset manager and strong career path options. This role can be either in TX or it can be remote.
