Job Summary:


We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Integration Management Office (IMO). This role will partner with the Director in the Acquisition IMO to lead the integration process for newly acquired companies. The candidate must be an independent thinker and dedicated individual, who is business and operationally oriented with demonstrated project management and facilitation success. This role will work with all levels of the organization to further the Company’s business goals by leading merger and acquisition integration projects.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Effectively manage/coordinate all information and work related to M&A integration projects using, but not limited to, project plans, risk and issue logs, agendas and minutes, and status reports
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and project team members that include corporate, business, and operational resources
  • Proactively identify and manage changes in project scope and schedule using a risk management plan, and work with the IMO Leadership and business owners to construct contingency plans
  • Coordinate and schedule project team meetings and associated working sessions
  • Develop and publish communications, including status reports, schedules, and issues logs to project stakeholders and team members
  • Create project templates, tools and documentation using Smartsheet and other software tools to structure information and data for project management and status reporting
  • Identify, document and report gaps and process improvements within the Integration Processes
  • Ensure all assigned projects, tasks, and activities are delivered on time


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • 7+ years project management experience, or equivalent, working multiple, simultaneous projects that range in size, scope and complexity
  • BA or BS degree
  • Knowledgeable in project management principles and theories; PMP certification a plus
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions and insurance industry desired
  • Honed project management skills should include project initiation, project plan creation, resource coordination, time/schedule management, risk management, prioritization and status reporting
  • Must possess the ability to work independently, prioritize and organize work effectively and take initiative in a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Smartsheet, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Occasional travel required


At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $84,200-$145,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
