Description/Job Summary

Lindahl Reed is seeking a senior level individual with leadership skills to join our industry leading Asset Management Practice. The position involves the development, implementation, and activation of asset management systems and solutions for organizations that operate and maintain large portfolios of built infrastructure. Built infrastructure includes buildings, structures, utilities, civil works, and transportation infrastructure. Asset management involves making resource and investment decisions related to planning and management of assets over their life cycle in alignment with and in fulfilment of organizational objectives. Asset management covers performance, risk, cost, and change management and involves development and implementation of policy, strategy, plans, budgets, processes, technology, and management systems. Activities involve leading and performing project management, planning and master planning, budgeting, asset inspections and assessments, conducting studies, analysis, management of data, research, policy and strategy development, training, technology development and implementation, change management, writing, facilitation, communications, personnel and client management, and business development. Work involves working on and leading teams to achieve delivery of contract requirements, meet performance expectations, and generate exceptional client satisfaction and stakeholder experiences.

Position Responsibilities

  • Apply and implement asset management systems and solutions based on ISO 55000 – Asset Management System suite of standards and maintain proficiency therein.
  • Perform and make use of asset management system and maturity assessments.
  • Perform gap analyses of management system capabilities leading to the implementation of continual improvement actions. initiatives, programs, and strategies.
  • Evaluate the performance of built assets, asset portfolios, management systems, and supporting technology enablement and then develop and implement plans, strategies, objectives, requirements, policies, processes, and technologies to improve the same.
  • Perform planning and analysis to include data analysis, system architecture, modeling, forecasting, auditing, assessments, inspections, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop, create, author, implement, and activate asset management system policies, processes, strategies, methodologies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Lead and participate on project teams to achieve company, project, and client objectives to include personnel, business, and solution development.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Candidates must possess one of the following combinations of education and experience:
    • A four-year engineering degree (preferably in engineering, planning, construction, facility management, business, or economics) and/or have a professional registration in these areas with a minimum of 12 years of experience in facility / built infrastructure planning, design, construction, or management.
    • A two-year technical degree with a minimum of 16 years of experience in facility / built infrastructure planning, design, construction, or management.
    • No degree with a minimum of 20 years of experience in facility / built infrastructure planning, design, construction, or management.
  • Project / program management experience
  • Experience in the development and implementation of management systems inclusive of organizational change management experience.
  • US citizen or ability to obtain a security clearance from the US government.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ISO management system standards.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of data analytics and creative problem solving.
  • Knowledge and experience working with and managing built infrastructure.
