Senior DevOps Engineer with German

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with German language proficiency to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps practices, cloud-native technologies, and a proven ability to collaborate across teams. You will play a critical role in driving the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute DevOps strategies.
• Automate and manage infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of systems through monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
• Advocate for best practices in DevOps, security, and cloud infrastructure.
• Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Drive continuous improvement in deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Must-have skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in DevOps or a related field, with a strong focus on cloud-native applications.
• Cloud Platforms: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their managed services.
• Automation Tools: Strong experience with automation tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with highly technical engineering teams.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions informed by various stakeholders.
• Communication: Fluent in both English (minimum C1 level) and German (at least B2 level), with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred skills:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud technologies, or Kubernetes are a plus.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices and tools (e.g., Scrum, SAFE, JIRA, Confluence).
• Innovative Mindset: A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
