Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect new leads and manage to generate sufficient pipeline growth. Develop, qualify and close opportunities
  • Grow and develop channel partners to generate leads and prospect meetings while leveraging DeepSeas sales model
  • Achievement of sales quota goals; drive and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales numbers.
  • Plan and participate in sales events and channel partner trainings that will drive new opportunity pipeline within territory.
  • Deliver on-line and face-to-face presentations highlighting DeepSea capabilities while leveraging technical and corporate resources.
  • Consistently promotes positivity, helpfulness and resourcefulness with customers having the goal of exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate, punctual reports, as required and thoroughly share information with others.
  • Proficient in ensuring customer satisfaction, setting realistic expectations, owning and solving customer challenges and obstacles.
  • Exceed expectations through efforts to provide customer satisfaction, setting realistic expectations, and by owning and solving customer challenges.
  • Exceptional listening skills with the ability to seek constructive feedback, build relationships and able to quickly adapt to change.

  • Experienced in anticipating and preventing problems in addition to overcoming obstacles.

Skills Knowledge And Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field or equivalent applicable work experience.
  • Must have proven experience selling to and closing business within the Higher Education vertical

Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in technology sales/account management working with IT technology products or services, qualifying and scoping technical services, working with a sales channel partner, and understanding how to differentiate a technical solution in a highly competitive environment

  • Heavy customer facing experience with C-level Executives and technical leaders.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to discuss technical concepts with both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience with online communication tools such as WebEx, etc.
  • Experience in selling technical Managed Services is a definite plus.
  • Must be able to understand job duties and responsibilities, have the necessary skills/knowledge and be willing and able to continue learning and growing within the field.
  • Must be skilled at managing a significant workload and obtaining positive results, taking on additional responsibility and managing priorities as needed.
  • Must be accurate, detailed, committed to high quality standards and pro-active in finding solutions to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Must promote mutual respect, ongoing communication and a positive outlook with both internal team members and customers.
