Sales Manager Greece

The Role

We are looking for a passionate Sales Manager to lead the introduction of products into Greece. This is a sales role focusing on finding the customers, introducing the products to the market and managing the growth of the territory.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales, developing the distribution network, training for installation and customers sales team.

You will also be responsible to interpret the product offering to the Greece market and provide feedback to the General Manager about product acceptance and market requirements.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow and adhere to the company core values.
  • Identify potential customers and partners; introduce the Company and product range; and establish relationships in the territory.
  • Coordinate activities with local partners to promote company products.
  • Provide sales training to resellers customers teams and product training to local installation teams.
  • Management of all sales aspects of the Company's trading in the territory, ultimately responsible for the relationship between the Company and its customers.
  • Achievement of the sales budget.
  • Contact and networking with interest groups, associations, and architects
  • Establish a network of screen dealers.
  • Ensure the ERP system has the correct customer information, discount structure, order status, warranty, and any other relevant information.
  • Review Company's offering to the market and work with Sales and General Manager to adjust offering to meet Greek markets demand.
  • Follow up any warranty claims with factory and customer representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and promote Company's brand.


About You:

The successful candidate for this position will be an accomplished sales executive with outstanding negotiation and people skills, a background in manufacturing (preferably to the building industry) in a business to business capacity and extensive experience increasing sales and creating value.

Furthermore, the successful applicant will have/be:

  • Tertiary qualifications and experience working with senior leadership.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Native Greek speaker and professional level of English skills
  • Ability to interpret offer to local market expectations.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation and sales skills
  • Collaborative and customer focus approach
  • Self-starter able to work independently with remote supervision


Desirable:

  • Existing contacts within the doors and windows manufacturing industry in Greece
  • Experience working with foreign company selling in Greece
  • Experience in business development, opening new markets
