We are recruiting for a Sales Representative to join our Direct Sales team, covering the North Holland and Amsterdam area. Applicants are required to be fluent in Dutch.


About the role …

Our Direct Sales Representatives are true ambassadors and consultants for the brands they are responsible for. You will focus on increasing a customer base through setting up new partnerships with salons and developing strong relationships that lead to retention, growth and customer satisfaction. Dedicated to maximising the value our existing customers receive from Salon Success by addressing customer needs on an ongoing basis and establishing lasting relationships with crucial decision makers. You will on-board, engage, renew and grow your customer base to support us in achieving the overall sales plan.


Key Responsibilities …

  • Act as primary point of contact and business partner for a dedicated portfolio of Salons, offering the “complete solution” via in-person meetings, phone and/or email.
  • Offer true consultancy to our Salon Partners (premium customers) i.e., in salon requirements, setting goal orientated partnerships within existing business / hands on bite retail education (as required), visual merchandising / retail merchandising etc.,
  • Acts as the go-to product expert for the brand and colour
  • Set up new partnerships, agree terms of business and on-board new salons in line with full service proposition
  • Manage existing customer base, imparting product and brand knowledge, establishing a competitive point of difference and cultivating the brand
  • Achieve retention, growth and sales goals measured monthly and quarterly while providing excellent customer support.
  • Develop and own the retention strategy; define growth goals, identify opportunities and build execution plans to increase engagement and footprint and anticipate future needs.
  • Conduct agreed business reviews with each salon designed to measure growth probability, satisfaction and to provide continual product education.
  • Report on planned and delivered activity for use in monthly analytics
  • Participate in monthly Sales meetings to share learnings, success stories and to improve processes.


About you …

  • 2+ years of sales or account management experience, ideally in the luxury goods/cosmetics industry
  • Fluent in Dutch is essential for this position
  • Background in hair preferred, passion for the industry essential
  • Proven ability to close deals with relevant stakeholders and oversee the end-to-end sales process.
  • Experience of managing, growing and acquiring multiple customer accounts with differing needs, propositions and requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue and profit targets with strong customer focus
  • Prior experience with CRMs to forecast sales and maintain updated records of customer interactions.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
