Your missions

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Legal Consultant to provide legal advice and identify potential issues for our various business documents and contracts. This is a remote role, making it an excellent opportunity for retired individuals with relevant expertise.

Responsibilities

Review business documents, contracts, and other legal materials to identify potential legal risks or concerns
Provide clear and actionable guidance on legal implications and recommended actions
Advise the team on applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Develop and deliver training sessions on relevant legal topics as needed
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and mitigate legal exposure

Qualifications

Retired or FORMER employee of customs, government, or other relevant regulatory agencies
Extensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Experience teaching or lecturing on legal topics is highly desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Familiarity with contract review and risk assessment
