Your Role:

As a Sales Development Representative, You Will

  • Achieve or exceed assigned quota on a consistent and repeatable basis with a keen focus on relationship building and best-in-class customer service
  • Actively nurture lead sources and incorporate prospects into pipeline management and pursuit activities
  • Cultivate prospect interest through account analysis and relationship building activities
  • Manage new or expanded account business to capitalize on early success
  • Research prospective clients within a market or region and perform lead scoring to rank prospects
  • Introduce company, products and services to clients and customers and form new relationships
  • Schedule meetings to provide and gather information and close sales
  • Create email and social media marketing campaigns to drive sales
  • Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from advertisements
  • Create relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales
  • Develop sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers
  • Present product information to customers once you have identified their needs
  • Move solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls
  • Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services
  • Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitate communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs 20-30% travel required

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Associates degree or bachelor's degree in a related area preferred or commensurate experience required
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, administration, or outbound B2B sales, preferably in the cybersecurity and/or IT space
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota and opening new accounts in cybersecurity and/or IT sales preferred
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce, and marketing automation software, preferably HubSpot
  • Solid understanding of both the cybersecurity and managed IT services, and how they relate to helping solve mid-market and enterprise frustrations
