Customer offerings include payment processing and gym management solutions that allow managers to track memberships and schedules and automate payment processing functions.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL administration (Azure SQL database, Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pool)
  • Knowledge of SQL databases performance best practices (distribution, partitioning, statistics, indexes)
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, data access accountability
  • Background in ETL pipelines monitoring and troubleshooting (Azure Data Factory)
  • Expertise in Azure BI and big data analytical tools (Power BI, Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Lake, etc.)
  • Practice in SQL and different types of databases (relational and NoSQL)
  • Understanding of integrated security systems and ability to participate in troubleshooting activities
  • Competency in leading teams to develop high-quality and secure solutions

Responsibilities

  • Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
  • Design and implement a database in accordance to end user’s information needs and views
  • Define users and enable data distribution to the right user in the appropriate format and in a timely manner
  • Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
  • Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
  • Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards
  • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required
