Systems Analyst-I (SA-I) – Remote (Hybrid also available)

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a Full-time Systems Analyst-I (SA-I) – Remote (Hybrid also available). Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

What will you do

As a Systems Analyst-I, your primary role will involve applying fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures related to systems analysis. You will perform tasks that necessitate practical experience and training in a supportive environment, ensuring you are adequately guided and supervised. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and troubleshooting system issues, documenting system requirements, and assisting in the implementation of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiencies. Your work will be critical in ensuring systems operate smoothly and meet the organization's technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret system requirements to ensure detailed understanding among stakeholders.
  
• Support the development and implementation of systems solutions in collaboration with IT professionals.
  
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and propose necessary maintenance actions.
  
• Participate in the preparation and maintenance of documentation related to system configurations, processes, and protocols.
  
• Assist in training users on the effective use of systems to maximize operational efficiency.
  

Requirements:

• Active Interim / Completed Secret Clearance or higher
  
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in systems analysis or a similar role.
  
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar.
  
• Proficient understanding of information systems and their impact on business operations.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment under supervision.
