KiZAN Technologies has an immediate need for an exceptional individual to join our family as a Data and AI Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, is a true team player with a commitment to success, has leadership skills, and will be able to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly-changing environment.

General Role duties and responsibilities:

  • Support complex sales initiatives, focusing on opportunities over specific financial thresholds or key strategic accounts
  • Support complex customer initiatives, primarily involved in planning and design phases, while enabling other team members for broad production efforts
  • Develop offers and align them with Microsoft initiatives and funding where possible
  • Actively listens, creates, and sustains constructive tension and trust with customers/partners by respectfully challenging their decisions and/or areas where they might do more and encouraging them to consider alternative architectures/solutions and approaches
  • Develops and expands existing impactful relationships with customer architects, C-level technical decision makers (TDMs), and business stakeholders
  • Identifies and evaluates industry trends (customer industry verticals, information technology [IT] industry), gathers customer insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer business outcomes
  • Supports customer-skilling by leading discussions on technical delivery with other internal and external stakeholders as a technical thought leader to influence customer readiness


Specific Role duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead role on strategic SOWs including the following:
    • Opportunities KiZAN believes to be over $100,000 in services, involving multiple KiZAN teams and technologies
    • Strategic customers requiring over $250k of services over a 12-month period
  • Billable oversite role as Solution Architect
    • Up to 20 hours per week billable
    • 25% target over the average of a single quarter
    • Establish relationships and communication cadence with Microsoft technical and account resources in the Azure, Fabric, Machine Learning (ML), and other Intelligent Data platform technologies
    • Build and present Go To Market (GTM) materials around PowerBI, Fabric, and other data platform related technologies
    • Participate in workshops, webinars, and conferences related to the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform and create meaningful relationships to drive business


    Minimum requirements:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years in IT with at least seven years in a senior consultant/architect role
    • Proven track record in designing and implementing Microsoft enterprise-level IT solutions

  • Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to travel, overnight up to 10%
  • Ability to travel independently to client sites; if by car, a valid driver’s license or reliable method of transportation is required
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
