Job description

As a Credentialing Systems Coordinator, you will be an essential part of the corporate business support team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with professionals from diverse backgrounds and contribute to the strategic goals of our company. Your role will involve providing essential support to various departments, enabling them to focus on their core functions and drive overall success.

This position will report to the Credentialing Supervisor and will perform day-to-day activities related to maintaining provider demographic data within multiple databases. The credentialing systems coordinator will work to ensure accurate and timely data entry of all provider’s demographic information, including but not limited to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other billable providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain provider demographic information in credentialing database(s) timely and accurately
  • Maintain payor rosters in multiple systems for scheduling, billing and payor requests
  • Coordinate Credentialing Delegation meetings and take minutes
  • Provide assistance with payor enrollment as needed
  • Assist with gathering credentialing reports for reporting and dashboard creation
  • Ensure accuracy of data on reports and dashboards
  • Participate in department projects as requested
  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years physician Credentialing experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or other credentialing certification
  • Physician billing experience
