Your missions

Job Description

As the Reporting Accountant, you are responsible for performing monthly reporting to support our Global Accounting controllership team. You will also have the opportunity to work with various accountants and accounting managers across the globe to ensure data requests are completed on a regular cadence. You will collaborate with accounting managers and internal departments to improve our reporting efficiencies. The Reporting Accountant requires an independent worker who enjoys detail oriented and data review tasks.

Responsibilities

Working through various global project for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for fixed assets, accrual true ups, bad debt, KPIs, and ESG requirements;
Doing ad hoc research, clean-up and reporting projects;
Working with various departments and global teams to streamline data flow and processes;
Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives;
Works collaboratively with accounting managers across the globe to confirm account activity and key drivers.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting;
1 to 3 years of minimum experience;
Technical and analytical aptitude;
Detail oriented and independent worker;
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Strong skills in Excel (formulas, large data sets, pivot tables, etc.);
Technical communication competency – written and oral;
Strong IT/systems ability and adaptability to ERP systems;
Ambitious and diligent with a commitment to improvement and a high standard of work;
Prior experience working remotely;
Excellent resolution and follow up skills;
Must be located in Costa Rica, Mexico or Brazil;
Must be fluent in English;
Experience in Oracle systems;
Knowledge of US GAAP.
