Overview

We are an independent, global, one-stop-shop focused on delivering Central Laboratory Services that are tailor-made, timely and flexible to meet the evolving study demands of traditional to increasingly complex trials. Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.

The Scientific Project Manager within FSP Solutions will be responsible for providing project management support to scientific program leaders from the cross-functional teams for one of our sponsors.

What will you do?

  • Effectively lead and support large transformational change projects and cross-functional project teams
  • Drive agenda, key actions/decisions, drive task completion, collaboration and communication
  • Develop project plans, risk management and change management plans.
  • The initial point of contact between external vendors and internal stakeholders for outsourcing issue resolution, vendor capacity & capability management
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot specific issues that impact the project
  • Ensure contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines & regulations
  • Implements transfer strategy and coordinates between the product team and technical experts
  • Manage supplier performance and relationships with attention toward opportunities to cut costs, alleviate risks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist with writing SOPs and developing and implementing training documents and plans.
  • Partner with leaders to oversee budgets, create budget line items and ensuring accurate projection to alleviate risks and drive continuous improvement

What will you bring to the table?

  • B.S., Life Sciences or related field
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience managing projects, including timelines, budgeting and forecasting as well as experience in the drug development and/or clinical trial processes
  • PMP certified and formal change management training strongly preferred
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Smartsheet and SharePoint
  • Strong planning, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working Hours, Location, Travel:

  • 100% remote with the ability to work standard east coast business hours
  • Travel approximately 2 - 4 times per year
