Job description

Role Summary

Our client is looking for a Digital Marketer to join their team. This role will be crucial in helping them grow the owner’s personal brand, company brand, and community. The primary responsibilities include managing social media and marketing efforts, creating and managing content, and expanding the proprietor’s presence via speaking events and podcast guest appearances.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Develop, schedule, and manage social media posts across various platforms to engage followers and convert as many as possible to community members
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the client’s subscriber list on Substack and company email list
  • Create and manage content related to the client’s personal brand and marketing campaigns; this includes editing videos for social media publishing
  • Assist in securing paid speaking events around the client’s location
  • Help secure podcast guest appearances for the client
  • Utilize Luma for event management and increase number of subscribers to public calendar
  • Work independently with high-level objectives to achieve set goals
  • Monitor and interpret data to assess marketing effectiveness and develop useful reports for the client
  • Make ongoing recommendations to improve personal and company marketing effectiveness

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and brand development
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation, including video editing using video editing software optimized for social media such as Instagram and YouTube
  • Proven experience in increasing social media followers, engagement, and conversions
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience with event management platforms, such as Luma, is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Highly independent self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet high-level objectives
