Position Description:

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

• Facilitation of Scrum Master:
• Daily Scrum Meetings
• Sprint Planning Meetings
• Sprint Review Meetings
• Sprint Retrospective Meetings
• Maintain Team Dynamics:
• Coach team members (e.g., with one-on-one coaching)
• Mediate through impediments & conflicts
• Identify outstanding project and product decisions impacting team delivery
• Foster the assigned team’s self-organization
• Support Team, Project and Organization goals with project leaders and product owner(s)
• Provide feedback to the team
• Encourage the use of Agile Practices within the development teams
• Help in product related activities:
• Help teams and vendors with the release planning
• Be familiar with the team (i.e., the product)
• Supporting the big picture:
• Bring people together who should meet and support each other
• Keep in touch with every stakeholder regularly
• Help the team report to management
• Help to further the Agile community within the organization
• Be a contact person for everyone on the team and their stakeholders regarding Agile
• Provide learning opportunities to people in the organization (e.g., talks or workshops) and letting them learn important Agile concepts (e.g., technical debt)
• Facilitate change

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

• Five (5) years minimum experience working in the Scrum Master role.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Agile development (Scrum Methodology).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
