Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Associate Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development with a focus on securing new clients in the brand space, particularly within the pop culture, celebrity, and influencer marketing sectors. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for starpower.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the brand space, focusing on pop culture, celebrity, and influencer marketing.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to secure new clients and achieve company revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, tracking activity consistently and accurately within CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop pitch decks and sales materials that align starpower’s value proposition with prospective client needs.
  • Assist in the RFP process, working closely with internal teams to develop and deliver agency responses.
  • Conduct detailed research during the RFP process to understand prospective clients and areas of opportunity for starpower.
  • Develop narrative-driven presentations and pitch them to internal team members and new clients.
  • Provide support in understanding the entertainment and influencer media landscape, keeping up with shifts and trends.

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the entertainment, pop culture, celebrity and/or influencer marketing industry.
  • Strong understanding of the pop culture, celebrity, and influencer landscapes.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and secure new clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passionate about pop culture, celebrities, and influencer marketing.

Pay Range: $88,000.00 - $115,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
