Your expertise will ensure alignment with modern cybersecurity design patterns, enabling CDW to stay ahead of current and emerging cyber threats.
You will lead the development of secure solution architectures across various domains, integrating multiple perspectives including business, application, data, and infrastructure across the enterprise. This role involves creating and maintaining security patterns for solution architectures, and collaborating with other architects to develop secure solution blueprints that adhere to security standards.
Additionally, you will provide critical decision support, guidance, and recommendations on project and program design deliverables. Working closely with technology, business, and development teams, you will offer security-related guidance to ensure that program and project architectures meet the applicable security standards for target-state architectures.
Responsibilities are in three parts:

- Develop and Maintain Security Architecture: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, implement, and sustain comprehensive security architecture solutions for key security capabilities such as Information Protection, Cloud Security, Network Security, Endpoints, IAM, Automation, and SIEM across the enterprise.
- Align Solutions with Security Standards: Evaluate and design solutions that adhere to established security standards and frameworks, while meeting business needs and addressing risk scenarios.
- Collaborate for Effective Implementation: Work closely with security teams and technology owners to ensure that security solutions are implemented and integrated seamlessly and effectively.
- Update Security Standards: Regularly review and update security standards and frameworks in line with industry best practices and the evolving threat landscape.
- Provide Technical Guidance and Support: Offer technical guidance and support to security projects and initiatives through presentations, technical guidelines, roadmaps, and collaborative efforts.

Work together to integrate security best practices into broader architectural efforts.
- Mentor and Train Staff: Mentor junior architects and other IT staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity practices.
