Business Subject Matter Expert (Medicare Advantage)

About the Role:

The Business Subject Matter Expert will take ownership of monitoring CMS guidance and regulatory updates related to Medicare Advantage. This role involves developing and implementing compliance policies, conducting impact assessments, and ensuring that our products and processes align with regulatory changes. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to integrate these changes and enhance our market presence through expert white papers on Medicare topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the ongoing monitoring of CMS guidance and regulatory updates related to Medicare Advantage.
  • Developing compliance policies and procedures, including drafting and finalizing relevant documents.
  • Creating and executing a transition plan for regulatory monitoring and impact assessments.
  • Monitoring state administrative entities for Medicaid changes and assessing their functional and technical impacts.
  • Collaborating with product and operations teams to integrate regulatory changes into products and processes.
  • Ensuring operational compliance within the BPO environment.
  • Supporting the sales team with Medicare Advantage opportunities by providing expert insights and guidance.
  • Consulting with the implementation team on Medicare Advantage requirements to ensure effective execution.
  • Writing and publishing white papers on Medicare topics to enhance market reputation and drive thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of CMS guidance and Medicare Advantage regulations.
  • Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures with precision.
  • Conducting thorough impact assessments and integrating regulatory changes effectively.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product and process integration.
  • Crafting high-quality white papers and marketing materials with exceptional writing skills.
  • Analyzing complex regulatory information and translating it into actionable business strategies.
  • Maintaining a high level of operational compliance and excellence within a BPO setting.
  • Advising on Medicare Advantage opportunities with a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Holding an advanced degree or relevant certification in healthcare compliance or Medicare Advantage or equivalent work experience.
  • Possessing experience in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment.
  • Demonstrating previous expertise as a subject matter expert in Medicare or Medicaid.

In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for bonuses or incentives. The estimated salary range for this role is $106,260-$138,000
