Key Responsibilities
The Director, Product Architect is responsible for the development and maintenance of software products. These responsibilities include assisting with requirements gathering, coding, testing, and installing applications. This position will work with the development manager to ensure that project deadlines are met and that the work meets user requirements.
- Develop and implement the technical architecture and roadmap for Korn Ferry products
- Lead the design and architecture of Korn Ferry products to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to create various PoC and meet the product/platform requirements.
- Oversee/Review the Engineering team’s technical design documentation and validation against Korn Ferry products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
- Provide guidance and technical support for Korn Ferry products implementation and integration.
- Design and define cloud-agnostic solutions leveraging best practices from AWS, Azure, GCP to ensure flexibility and resilience.
- Produce high-quality and bug-free code as per the coding standards in close collaboration and interaction with other members of the Engineering/QA team.
- Participate in Agile methodologies for all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.
- Develop High Level and Low-Level Technical design documentation.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across all architectural designs to protect data and applications.
- Work with support team to resolve production support issues.
- Mentor the junior developers and help build knowledge base.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
- Contribute to the success of the organization by helping others accomplish job results; learning new skills needed by the team; finding new ways to help the team.
Professional Experience/Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development and architecture experience design, build, and deploy scalable cloud solutions, utilizing the full spectrum of AWS Cloud PAAS
- Proficiency in Apache NiFi for data flow management.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Experience in building efficient backend services using js / Nest.js.
- Experience in building infrastructure resources on AWS efficiently using
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions / AWS code pipeline.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
- Experience in working with Docker / EKS (Mandatory).
- Experience in development of interactive and responsive user interfaces, leveraging ReactJS, Tailwinds CSS (Preferred).
- Experience in of the following skill tools is an added advantage Key Cloak / Grafana /
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of system tuning, code optimization and bug solving.
- Deep understanding of the industry trends and emerging technologies, ability to apply to product architecture.
- Working experience in agile team is preferred.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university in Computer Science or relevant streams
Salary Range
$155,000.00 - $180,000.00
Salary range represents the compensation Korn Ferry expects to pay to a candidate with the requirements for the job posted. Korn Ferry offers competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
