Senior Back-end PHP Developer

This is either on-site, hybrid or fully remote position. We will decide based on the profile of the individual!

We are growing and we need you. novoville is in the middle of beautiful things and once more we need to add more people to our family. The backend team is at the core of our product line. We are developing a suite of new features and we need to add more firepower.

As a senior backend PHP developer you will work in close collaboration with the front-end development and management teams to deliver new features for the novoville platform picking skills along the way in a high-impact driven environment.

We expect excellent understanding of all things PHP and experience in real-world commercial software.

Requirements

• Real-world experience in PHP.
• Deep understanding of REST, SQL and MVC frameworks
• Object oriented design skills
• Solid knowledge of git and comfortable with the command line
• Ideally experience with the Laravel framework
• Strong written and spoken English skills

Good to have:

• Experience with automated testing, be it unit, functional and/or acceptance testing
• Devops knowledge in Linux environments is a very strong plus
• Docker skills
