HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

This role will be primarily responsible for writing product description copy on web pages across Carter’s family of brands. It is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment.

  • Please submit a copy of your portfolio or writing samples.

75%: Craft accurate, engaging descriptions for Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, Little Planet and Canada exclusive products, adhering to brand voice, style and SEO best practices

  • Become a product expert, partnering closely with copywriting, merchandising and design teams
  • Champion product features, fits and benefits while maintaining consistency across brands
  • Seek out ways to innovate product copy strategy and efficiency

15%: Seasonally update product landing page header copy, footer copy and meta descriptions across key site destinations, leveraging insights from SEO Director and agency to execute on opportunities

5%: Collaborate with graphic designers, art directors and marketing channel leaders to support Carter’s, OshKosh and Little Planet marketing initiatives (email, subject lines, paid media copy, etc.)

5%: Develop clear, concise UX site & app copy, and consistently scrub brand sites for opportunities

We’d Love to hear from you if:
Must have:
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills adhering to AP style
  • Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Creative thinker who is ambitious, adaptable and responds positively to feedback
  • 0-3 years of copywriting experience

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English or related field
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and how copy relates to design
