Your mission

Whether frontend or backend: you are fully in your element when it comes to coding within web development. Although you have a passion for one of the areas, you never lose sight of the other.
This applies to the core architecture and new features in the backend or the perfect user experience in the frontend: with your broad tech stack and your creativity, you solve even tricky problems with enthusiasm!

• You program our web application and its infrastructure and develop exciting new features together with your agile team.
• You deploy and operate the containerized applications in a cloud environment (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• The applications you are responsible for are based on TypeScript and React in the frontend and Kotlin and Spring Boot in the backend, as well as SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) / NoSQL (DocumentDB) databases.
• You operate DevOps-oriented development taking into account continuous integration/delivery on the GitLab platform.
• You further develop our coding guidelines together with us and ensure that they are adhered to.
• You are involved as a track lead in solution discovery and are responsible for the end-to-end implementation of product initiatives.

Your Qualification:

• You have several years of practical experience in the (web) development of secure applications (keyword OWASP) as well as in working with design patterns and agile working methods (e.g. Scrum / Kanban).
• You have very good knowledge of object-oriented or functional software development, e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or Kotlin and in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• You have sound practical experience in technologies such as Spring Boot, Node.js, React, AngularJS or Vue.
• You have a holistic technical understanding, which you like to share with your colleagues, and are against silo thinking.
• You are fluent in German and English and live in Germany.
• You love coding as much as we do!
