About the Role

As the teams primary Product Manager you will lead the development of a revolutionary new music discovery platform. This role provides a unique opportunity to be part of the founding team, working alongside experienced leaders with a proven track record in launching and scaling products. You will play a key role in making crucial decisions that will shape the direction of our platform. As the team grows, this position may evolve into a Team Lead role.

Our product aims to offer a modern, challenging, and ambitious user experience by seamlessly integrating content delivery, audio playback, machine learning, and recommendation systems. Be a part of transforming music consumption with us.


What You Will Do

  • Utilize the product roadmap to guide the successful inception through to production deployment and scale-up.

  • Make critical early-stage product development decisions to ensure long-term success.

  • Engage heavily with the UX/UI team to create an easy to use and beautifully designed product experience.

  • Engage and collaborate with the product founder to showcase it to various stakeholders

  • Operate in a fast-paced, startup-like environment to launch a new business within Harman.

  • Work with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.

  • Actively engage with business, design, and engineering stakeholders in an iterative, dynamic environment.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.

  • Proven track record of managing a product from inception through to production deployment and scale-up. Emphasis placed on the product being B2C.

  • At least 15 years of experience in product management roles, with recent experience in a team lead or mentoring capacity.

  • Familiarity with modern software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile) and proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a 100% remote environment, both independently and as a senior member of a team.

What is Nice to Have

  • A passion for music and interest in working on products that bring joy to music lovers worldwide.

  • You have either coding experience or UI/UX design experience

  • Familiarity with Recommender Systems

  • Familiarity with Data Pipelining and using data to drive decision making

USD 122,250 - USD 179,300
