Summary
Cigna / Evernorth is seeking a highly motivated and innovative team member, reporting to the Strategic Planning Director of Digital & Analytics (D&A), to join our growing and dynamic team leading and supporting the development of our D&A strategy and execution of our strategy. This individual will be an active contributor in high visibility large-scale projects that drive the organization’s adoption of AI technologies with a focus on PoC (proof-of-concept) and phased, test-and-learn approach.
Responsibilities
Lead PoC and adoption of AI technologies within the organization following a test-and-learn approach
Develop AI related strategies to advance business objectives, enhance value propositions, create new revenue streams, strengthen competitive advantage and optimize operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze potential use cases for AI applications both internally and externally
Ability to think, and connect our strategy and execution to measurable, quantitative outcomes
Collaborate effectively with D&A and business leaders influencing outcomes through effective verbal and written communication skills including planning and facilitating workshops, developing compelling senior-level presentations and other highly visible communications
Own key strategic initiatives including defining scope, planning, executing and reporting to key stakeholders on progress, opportunities and value delivered
Conduct analyses to identify business use cases, capability requirements, and digital, technology & data dependencies to support our key strategic initiatives
Qualifications
5+ years' of experience in ML, AI related role (experience in a healthcare environment preferred)
Familiarity with LLMs and commensurate prompt engineering capabilities
Broad knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies including ethical AI practices; prompt engineering; generative AI capabilities and solutions; emerging use cases and scenarios in AI; AI service providers and tools available in the marketplace, etc.
Experience in corporate strategy, data and analytics strategy, general consulting and other related fields with a history of demonstrated business success
Project management experience required
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop sophisticated quantitative analyses and synthesize the results into implications and communicate recommendations to senior leadership
Experienced in developing and analyzing complex financial models and other quantitative assessments including Digital KPIs, ROI, P&L, etc; significant exposure to Python and SQL is highly desirable
Experience networking successfully across a large company by building trust, making decisions, focusing on stakeholder needs, continuously improving and building talent
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of shaping messages appropriately for a senior-level audience and proficiency using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Bachelor of Science Degree or above in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or other related field highly preferred or equivalent work experience required
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 121,400 - 202,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
