Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Social Media Specialist to join our growing team and support client engagements in building all programs across social media, as directed by the Supervisor or Director, and other senior management on the team. This is an opportunity to support social media programming efforts for clients in the pharmaceutical space, using your communications training and experience to improve health and make a difference. You will report to a Social Media Manager. This role does offer remote flexibility.
You will:
Client Partnership
- Provide social media support on multiple client accounts
- Execute a variety of client program activities including research, social media monitoring, and building relevant relationships on behalf of clients with online advocates, influencers
- Develop drafts of client documents including social media posts, results reports, influencer mapping, summary reports, and proofs all documents for accuracy before providing to other team members or client for review
- Manage comprehensive social media projects and influencer events including logistics, timetables and deadlines
- Provide creative input in developing social strategy documents
Business Development
- Participate in new business brainstorms and conducts research on new business projects
- Support management of Inizio Evoke Comms social media channels
- Track content performance with an ability to discover and implement applicable insights
- Demonstrated understanding or ability to learn social media tools as well as web-based research tools, e.g., Quid & Brandwatch
- Aid in the development of new business materials (presentations, RFP responses)
Leadership & Teamwork
- Display an ongoing willingness to gain knowledge and contribute to the team
- Work and collaborate with interns and Social Media Specialists
- Effectively partner with account teams to meet client needs, communicating project goals, direction and timing
- Support company values and an inclusive culture
You will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant filed
- 2+ years' communications or related health marketing or communication experience
- Understanding and experience with multiple social media platforms
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Solid research skills
- Passionate about improving lives through innovations in health
- Social media experience preferred
