About the Role

Franki’s Product team is seeking a Senior Product Designer. This person will be a key driver in shaping the user experience across our digital products, focusing on crafting intuitive and visually engaging interfaces that resonate with our brand identity. This role will involve close collaboration with the Head of Design and cross-functional teams to ensure our designs are not only user-centric but also aligned with our broader product strategy. Note: Candidates residing in Latin America will be given first consideration. Additionally, this position requires candidates to work USA Central Time Zone hours

What you’ll do…

• Develop user interface designs that align with Franki’s brand and product goals, ensuring a seamless user experience.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.

• Create, maintain, and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across various products.

• Conduct user research, including surveys and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors.

• Lead user testing sessions to gather feedback on designs and iterate based on input.

• Create high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.

• Ensure visual elements align with brand style and guidelines.

• Stay updated on the latest design trends and tools to enhance product visual appeal.

• Work closely with the Head of Design and team members to align on design priorities.

• Navigate ambiguity with confidence, making informed design decisions despite unclear or changing requirements.

• Work well with rapidly shifting priorities and context-switching between different products (web and mobile).

• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

You might be a good fit if you…

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Fine Arts, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design or a similar role, preferably within a tech start-up or digital product environment.

• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design, from concept through execution and iteration.

• Strong written and spoken English skills.

• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects, with a focus on web and mobile applications. The portfolio should highlight your design process, problem-solving skills, and the impact of your work on user experience.

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Bonus points if you… 

• Familiar with HTML/CSS and an understanding of how designs are implemented in a web development context.

• Experience with prototyping tools like InVision or Axure.
