See Yourself as a VP, Product Owner

As the VP, Product Owner you will be responsible for the overall product vision and strategy, for a Radian product. You will need to be a passionate voice for the product and be a problem solver. The position will maintain the product roadmap and be responsible for communicating with stakeholders including customers, senior managers, and the delivery teams to make sure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives. As the VP, Product Owner you will specify and deliver the business requirements for the product and create user stories to support them.

You will manage the product backlog by creating the list of backlog items and grooming and prioritizing them. As the VP, Product Owner you will also need to be an active participant in Scrums and sprint planning, ensuring that the delivery teams are focused and have all pertinent product information to be successful. This position will serve as the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and delivery teams and need to be expert communicators, making sure there’s buy-in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategy and clear instructions and deliverables for the delivery teams. As the voice of the customer, you will specify requirements for current and future deliveries by conducting market research supported by on-going conversations with customers and non-customers, and by analyzing potential partner relationships. As the VP, Product Owner you will sign-off for completion of sprints and deployments.

See Your Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Create overall vision and strategy to support the product business and revenue goals and objectives. Represent the product vision and be the voice of the customer (internal and external) to maximize and drive holistic customer experience.
  • Define and maintain product roadmap and establish regular process for collection, inventory and review of product feedback and suggestions for use in developing feature and functionality design and content to optimize customer growth and retention.
  • Develop and document business use cases and requirements to communicate expected features and functionalities, create visual design prototypes, prepare user stories and acceptance criteria ready for development work, and prioritize such stories based on maximizing stakeholders needs and business benefit, support with defined and measurable metrics.
  • Collaborate in agile and scrum meetings, and as part of cross-functional product and delivery platform team to ensure successful execution of product plan. Lead product-team QA and UAT test plans and testing. Provide product team sign-off of deliveries and deployments. Act as team champion to "get things done".
  • Collaborate with marketing, legal, training, customer success and other business areas to promote the successful adoption of SaaS solution.
  • Track and report on product progress towards customer and product goals to management and other stakeholders. Socialize new releases and features.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Your Knowledge

  • Direct product experience creating, launching and supporting a product preferably in Fintech or Real Estate Tech (Realtech) and/or Property Tech (Proptech) and/or InsurTech.
  • Extensive knowledge of agile and scrum principles.
  • Knowledge of the product delivery and software development life cycle and the tools and technology commonly used to support product management.
  • Knowledge of customer success and training techniques.
  • Knowledge of real estate markets and agent activities.

Your Skills And Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate with clarity to a broad set of stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identifying different alternatives, selecting, and implementing the best alternative, and evaluating results quickly and critically.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing on strategic initiatives both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability and desire to drive success and accept accountability.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a pipeline.
  • Extensive experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and product management tools.
  • Extensive experience with design and wireframe tools (Figma) to support vision definition.

Additional Qualifications

  • Capital Markets experience strongly preferred
  • Must have experience leading and developing employees at all levels.
