Overview

The Manager, Business Product Management is accountable for leading and supporting the end-to-end continuous improvement and optimization of cross-functional business projects implementation which would include assistance with deployment, stabilization, and process design and enhancements. This position involves collaborating with technology program and project managers and business leadership along with SME’s to understand product (system & platform) needs, translating insights and processes into actionable requirements for the team. Continue process and training operational and administrative improvements for which help support the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the management of a portfolio of products post including implementation and post implementation.
  • Supports the business initiatives ensuring alignment to the Tactile Medical business strategy.
  • Collaborate with technology, product owners and business owners to set achievable goals for the assigned portfolio of products, clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Builds bridges, effective collaborate and blurs the lines between business and technology teams. Ensure project quality and success through executing and managing of action items, issues, and decisions, assessing risks, initiating change requests, identifying resource needs, assessing scope, meeting deadlines for deliverables, and financial planning. Appropriately escalate barriers to Leadership for effective and collaborative solutions.
  • Assists with training and process improvement teams to communication and educate team members on product and process changes. Uses data to assess adoption, utilization, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features, enhancements, and improvements.
  • Work across the organization to ensure there are adequate communication channels, develop product requirements, and build visibility for solutions based on feedback.
  • Review data to identify trends, gaps, inconsistencies. Create remediation recommendations.
  • While not a strictly technical leader, must understand the technology and how tools work together to support the business and delivery of viable products in alignment with the technical roadmap and strategy.
  • Maintain compliance with all appropriate standards and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and cybersecurity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a product management, support, or system analyst role
  • 1+ years of leadership experience
  • Critical thinking: Ability to problem solve, determine root cause and apply big picture thinking.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to inform decisions.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with technology and optimization processes.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Preferably in business, technology, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Particularly adept at effective communication with business leaders and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership mindset, adaptable in ambiguous or uncertain environments.
  • Ability to influence strategy and execute initiatives.
  • Proven success in assisting with development of product roadmaps, requirements, and user experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead business initiatives effectively and efficiently.
  • Self-directed, internally motivated, and driven.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.
  • Ability to reconcile conflicting priorities, influence without formal management authority, and align with business strategy.

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.

$98,500 - $147,735
