Who We're Looking For

Our client is in search of a Scrum Master / Lead Product Owner to join their team right away. The ideal candidate is an experienced Scrum Master and Product Owner with a strong grasp of Agile principles, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to guide teams, manage product backlogs, and deliver high-quality results aligned with business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Coach the development team in Agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and continuous improvement.
Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress.
Foster a self-organizing, cross-functional team environment where everyone is empowered to deliver high-quality results.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on sprint goals and priorities.
Track and report on team performance metrics, helping the team optimize workflow and productivity.
Lead and mentor the Product Owner team, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent delivery across all projects.
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and that stories are well-defined and prioritized.
Oversee multiple product initiatives, ensuring that Product Owners are effectively managing their backlogs and meeting project goals.
Act as the Product Owner for smaller projects, defining product features and ensuring that development aligns with business objectives.
Translate high-level business objectives into detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Ensure that the product delivers maximum value by balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.
Provide clarity and direction to the development team, answering questions and refining requirements throughout the development process.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Scrum Master and Product Owner, preferably in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum practices, with experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Experience managing a product backlog, writing user stories, and prioritizing features based on business value.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Experience leading and mentoring a team of Product Owners or similar roles.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
Knowledge of software development processes and technologies.
