Your missions

Senior Manager, Supply Chain Transportation will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, final mile performance, and network optimizations. The role will provide transportation leadership and support to improve the Client’s overall customer experience, while working across the multiple service lines of the organization including Fulfillment, Client Account Management, Technology, Finance, Sales, and Customer Care.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the transportation client support team regarding strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain client key performance metrics (KPIs) and performance reporting to support proactive client communication and action.
  • Serve as a transportation subject matter expert for existing client’s cost and service performance, reporting, and optimizations. Provide guidance to Finance regarding the transportation budgets and forecasts, identify key areas of opportunity or risk to plan and make recommendations for necessary adjustments.
  • Champion client’s transportation optimization projects and support implementation of new value-added services.
  • Follow transportation industry trends, new solutions and technologies to share with clients and Radial cross-functional service lines.
  • Identify and evaluate new transportation opportunities by providing in-depth analysis, cost modeling and financial impacts. Support external and internal clients with detailed cost and performance analysis for transportation solutions.
  • Collaborate with all internal service lines to streamline processes.
  • Build good working relationships with vendors and service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor' s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Supply Chain or transportation leader with at least 3-5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of all modes of transportation, domestic and international shipping.
  • Experience with ecommerce small parcel shipping a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficient understanding of all levels of the supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience in data mining, performing analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, power point and other network modeling tools (i.e. Llamasoft, Tableau). Analytical mindset coupled with a strong business acumen.
  • Aptitude for critical thinking; problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Outstanding organizational, collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 15% of the time.

Scope: This position reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain Transportation. This position will lead approximately 5 Client Support associates.
