We are seeking a Technical Solutions Architect for a client in the healthcare services industry, providing support across various sectors including clinics, digital healthcare enterprises, public health, and research institutions.

This role involves supporting the ongoing enhancement of a Lab Information System (LIS). The existing team includes development and QA teams, a business analyst/Scrum master, and a technical lead. As the project progresses, this position will oversee the transition of additional platform features and support to a nearshore development team, collaborating closely with the QA team and the business analyst/Scrum master.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Guide the development and architecture of a complex, microservice-based, event-driven system
  • Ensure implementation of best practices in key technologies like Kafka, .NET Framework 8, and React
  • Maintain adherence to architecture standards set by the original project team
  • Independently guide the team with limited support from the Principal (~8 hours a week).

  • Hard Skills - Must have
  • .NET Framework 8: Extensive experience in development and architecture
  • React: Proficient in guiding and implementing in this framework
  • Azure Cloud Services: Competent in Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL
  • DevOps Skills: Experience in managing cloud-based devops, particularly within Azure services
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Expertise in the design and troubleshooting of event-driven systems

  • Hard Skills - Nice to have/It's a plus
  • Kafka: Event-Driven Architecture experience is a must-have, while specific experience with Kafka is a nice-to-have.

  • Soft Skills / Business Specific Skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts with the team
  • Ability to adapt communication style to meet audience; may be responsible for leading sprint demos, elaborate requirements, discuss bugs, etc.
