Job description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Content Marketing Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will develop and execute content strategies to engage target audiences, drive brand awareness, and generate leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with business objectives, target audience needs, and brand messaging. Develop a content calendar that ensures timely and relevant content delivery.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and original content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, and videos. Ensure content is consistent with brand voice and optimized for search engines.
  • Conduct research to understand target audience preferences, behaviors, and pain points. Segment audiences to tailor content that resonates with different customer personas and drives engagement.
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building. Monitor and adjust content strategies based on SEO performance and analytics.
  • Develop and manage content distribution strategies across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and third-party platforms. Ensure content reaches the target audience effectively and drives traffic and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools. Track key metrics such as website traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, and ROI. Prepare reports and provide insights to optimize content strategies.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, design, and product, to ensure alignment on content objectives and messaging. Collaborate with external partners, such as freelancers or agencies, as needed.
  • Develop strategies to promote content and drive audience engagement. Utilize social media, email marketing, and other promotional tactics to increase content visibility and interaction.
  • Ensure all content is thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Implement quality control processes to maintain high content standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best practices. Continuously adapt strategies and tactics to leverage new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., HubSpot Content Marketing) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a content marketing strategist or similar role with a strong track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce compelling content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content strategy. Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret content performance data and make data-driven decisions to optimize content strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple content projects, manage deadlines, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative content ideas and strategies that engage and resonate with the target audience.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to manage content calendars and workflows effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving content trends, technologies, and business needs in a dynamic work environment.
