Position Overview: 

Join our Platform Project Management team, where talented individuals collaborate to define, create, and deliver user-facing aspects of the Classic Vacations brand and product. As a UI/UX Designer, you’ll be a highly motivated and proactive team member responsible for translating functional requirements into well-thought-out designs. Reporting to the Director of Product Design, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing amazing products to life for our users across the Classic Vacations Experience.

  • Translate business objectives into meaningful designs from concept to final implementation, ensuring a consistent user experience.
  • Effectively communicate designs, providing insight into your design process and demonstrating how your work aligns with user needs and business goals.
  • Diligently maintain our design component library as actively used by the dev team to ensure brand consistency.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, low and high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas at the appropriate level of fidelity.
  • Empathy will be a guiding principle from the starting phase of the project, through to finished deliverables, creating usable and focused designs.
  • Ability to foster and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, and stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in e-commerce, UX design, and technology to continuously improve our digital offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in UI design, UX design, or web design.
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and learn new concepts quickly.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient with design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Portfolio demonstrating your UI/UX design experience.
  • Skills:  Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, User Experience, User Interface Design, Wireframing, Attention to Detail, Empathy, Knowledge Acquisition, and Communication.

Terms of Employment:

  • Hours: Full–Time Employment. 40+ hours per week
  • Pay rate: Annual Salary, Depending on Experience + Annual Bonus, Depending on Company and Individual Performance.
  • Office: Work is virtual
