Your missions

The Client Retention Marketing Specialist within The Baldwin Group’s Insurance Advisory Solutions (IAS) business unit will be responsible for managing relationships with internal and external resources to ensure marketing and communications efforts targeting clients are produced on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

They will partner with IAS and regional marketing team members to streamline processes and create a standard of excellence across various efforts, and will work closely with national Sales and Client Experience leaders on strategy, opportunities, and messaging.

The IAS Client Retention Marketing Specialist will develop key client marketing and communications materials, plan and execute efforts to enhance client experience, and analyze results against performance goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Net Promoter Score program for IAS , ensuring a consistent approach and schedule across regions and business segments.
  • Report on NPS scores to leaders and other colleagues, while also providing communications assets and approaches to help engage with high and low scorers.
  • Explore areas to improve the existing NPS program and expand the program into new client groups and business segments and geographies.
  • Contribute to efforts to holistically account round clients whether as a part of the NPS program or other national and regional efforts to market new products and services to existing clients.
  • Manage other critical client communications and events programs, such as the Employee Benefit Compliance program.
  • Support one-off alerts and other client communications.
  • Develop client deliverables and other business- and communications-related templates.
  • Work with the business segments and marketing colleagues to identify areas of opportunity for client outreach and support in the client journey.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and design tools (such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
  • Experience working with Net Promote Score programs
  • Proven outcomes in email marketing and communications
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail
  • Knowledge or strong desire to learn about the insurance industry
  • Proven ability to write content on complex/technical topics
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills and comfort presenting in front of groups in person and virtually
  • Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Effective project management and time management skills, especially when working with others.
  • Sound understanding of communications and marketing principles
  • Adept at learning new systems
  • Prior experience with marketing automation software, CRM systems, and email marketing platforms
     

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 4+ years' relevant experience
  • Experience writing and editing professional content
