Job Description

Identifies, evaluates and acquires new customers within an assigned geographic territory. Develops and executes account / territory selling strategies and manages all steps of the customer identification and acquisition process from initial contact through sales engagement and deal close. May attend sales, industry and other events to build a sales pipeline and keep abreast of developments. Researches accounts and generates or follows through on sales leads. Leverages various selling techniques to meet sales, retention and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Business Development across a large, complex geographic region and / or enterprise-wide.
  • Identifies and properly qualifies business opportunities.
  • Develops account / territory selling strategies.
  • Prepares formal proposals and presents these to decision makers within customer organizations.
  • Expertly manages all steps of the selling process.
  • Influences complex decision-making to overcome objections to closure.
  • Acquires and assesses customer feedback to determine current satisfaction levels and future market needs and trends.
  • Plays a lead role in targeting and cultivating key customer and opinion leader relationships.
  • Works closely with sales teams to monitor and tune sales performance.
  • Leads team efforts to identify and develop effective sales and education tools.
  • Maintains positive and influential working relationships with diverse groups of business stakeholders and decision-makers, internal and external.
  • Provides guidance and advice to less experienced team members.


Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Development.
  • Good business English skills (Written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Retail Store or Banking Branch procedures and the utilization of technology within the environment.
  • General knowledge of Diebold Nixdorf products and services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Software and Service solution sales would be advantageous.
  • Proven success in high quota carrying position.
  • Consultative sales experience with complex solution design is desired.
  • Exhibit skills, characteristics, traits and work habits that greatly enhance the likelihood of success as an Sales Manager, ex: solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, time and territory management, customer empathy.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills at all levels of the organization, including senior executive levels.
  • Proficient in all MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
  • Possess experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce to maximize opportunities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
