Your missions

The Managing Director of Enterprise Architecture will be responsible for an architecture department consisting of Enterprise, Solution, and Security Architects. This position will lead the architecture department in defining and implementing an architectural framework, operating model, and standards that maximize the value of the architecture teams.

Experience leading enterprise architecture team(s) required; previous experience with healthcare, HIPAA, and information security preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads multi-discipline, high-performance work teams of Enterprise, Solution, and Security architects distributed across remote locations effectively. 
  • Defines roles and efficient engagement processes across the various architecture domains (enterprise, solution, application, security, and infrastructure).
  • Manages ongoing delivery operations and performance measurement of architecture services, including agility in meeting variable demand.
  • Develops resource plans and budgets, manages the timing and execution of services delivery, and forecasts resource capacity.
  • Aligns investments in architecture to strategic priorities, health plan operating plans and metrics to lead the transformation of architecture services in creating organizational value.
  • Brings knowledge of leading-edge and innovative architecture practices to drive organizational maturity and value evolution.
  • Develops strategies & roadmaps for technology initiatives including Cloud, Integration Platform, etc.
  • Develops and expands the engagement model and implementation of enterprise architecture across all business and technology domains.
  • Infuses agility, simplicity, efficiency, accountability, and best practices into architecture, driving the vision of high value with lean execution.
  • Develops strong partnerships with business and provides proactive thought leadership in the ideation of innovative, transformative technology and shared services solutions.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Master's degree is preferred.

Experience

  • 10 years - Information technology, strategy, and architecture leadership experience.
  • 10 years - Experience within technical organizations with multiple product lines.
  • Experience in how to simplify complicated processes.
  • Experience planning the execution and delivery of architecture services for multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with implementation and execution of enterprise architecture, including roadmaps, innovative technology implementation, architecture standards and best practices, discovery and POCs, and leading a team of architects (solution, application, security, infrastructure) to deliver an integrated product.
  • Prefer Experience with health care, HIPAA, and information security.

Skills

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven capability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization structure, with a specific emphasis in delivering rapid results and cost efficiencies. 
  • Proven track record setting a vision for enterprise architecture.
  • Talented consensus builder able to influence across organizational teams to create alignment and resolve conflicts.
  • Proven leadership skills in an environment that is undergoing transformation and leading through change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to interact with a variety of customers and stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of architecture principles.
