The Senior Manager, Business Development is responsible for developing business development strategies and tactics to expand the presence of electronic warfare, radar systems, and legacy systems, including the ALQ-99, SLQ-32, and legacy Army ground radar systems. This role will focus on sustainment programs for Navy shipboard radars, airborne radar systems, and legacy Army radar systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily execution of the business development strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives in the electronic warfare, Navy radar systems, and legacy Army radar systems space.
- Conduct competitive market analysis, internal review of SWOT, and categorization of opportunities for electronic warfare, Navy radar systems, airborne radar systems (ALQ-99), and legacy Army ground radar systems.
- Seek out opportunities to grow the business pipeline in the Navy radar, airborne radar (ALQ-99), and legacy Army ground radar systems space.
- Identify and explore customer requirements and serve as an expert conduit between customers and the company in Navy sustainment programs, OEM aftermarket opportunities, and legacy radar systems.
- Collaborate with the Segment Director to establish segment targets and metrics to measure the achievement of objectives related to Navy shipboard, airborne radar systems, and Army ground radar systems.
- Develop and use contacts and relationships within the OEM and radar systems industry to respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes.
- Build and foster effective communication within the customer community, focusing on sustainment of legacy radar systems such as the ALQ-99, SLQ-32, and legacy Army radar systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders, OEMs, and aftermarket programs to understand customer needs and requirements for shipboard radar systems, airborne radar systems, and Army ground radar systems.
- Collaborate with the Sustainment Capture Director on lead/support of business pursuits for OEMs, aftermarket, and legacy radar programs.
- Make suggestions for new product offerings or improvements to sales or marketing efforts in electronic warfare and radar systems.
- Administer or negotiate new business proposals in the Navy and Army radar sustainment and electronic warfare systems space.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility and may contribute to developing the budget.
- Manage presentations to prospective and current customers within assigned markets related to Navy radar, airborne radar, and Army ground radar systems.
- Analyze opportunities for requirements and gaps in electronic warfare and radar systems offerings, partnering strategies, competitive analysis, opportunities for investment, and value creation.
- Serve as a liaison between U.S. customers and Elbit Systems Limited, Marketing, Engineering, Contracts, and other key personnel as required for successful pursuit of new business.
