Availability & Tools Requirements:
-Work Hours: Candidates must be available during Eastern Standard Time (EST) office hours. This requirement is non-negotiable, and prompt responsiveness during business hours is essential.
-Technical Requirements: Candidates must have access to a stable and high-speed internet connection, along with reliable equipment (PC or laptop). These specifications are also non-negotiable to ensure optimal performance and communication.

Join our rapidly growing immigration law firm, where you will play a crucial role in drafting legal brief responses to USCIS requests. We're on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented writer to help us continue our impressive expansion in the immigration sector. As our RFE Cover Letter Writer, you will collaborate closely with attorneys and our RFE team to devise effective strategies for responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs). You’ll be instrumental in evaluating cases, conducting research, and drafting well-structured responses to embody our clients' stories and support their cases. Experience in family-based or humanitarian immigration cases is a plus!

What You'll Do:
-Analyze and evaluate communications from USCIS, including RFEs, NOIDs, and other inquiries.
-Review application materials and identify additional evidence necessary for USCIS.
-Draft comprehensive responses that effectively incorporate supporting evidence.
-Examine FOIA records including USCIS, CBP, OBIM, and EOIR.
-Collaborate with the legal services team to gather pertinent evidence.
-Conduct occasional legal and factual research as needed.
-Create initial drafts of cover letters and templates adhering to legal writing standards.
-Work with team leads and attorneys to refine and finalize work products.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of one year of experience researching and preparing responses to RFEs or NOIDs.
-Familiarity with VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Asylum, Medical DA, I-601, DS-260, and DS-160 applications is beneficial but not mandatory; we can provide training to excellent writers eager to learn.
-Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently while managing deadlines.
-Experience reviewing immigration records from USCIS, OBIM, CBP, and EOIR.
Proven organizational and communication skills.
-Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Dropbox, and MS Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time, Schedule:
-8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
-Office hours: 9 AM to 5 PM EST
