Job Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the industrial sales team to achieve sales goals by implementing performance targets, value-selling techniques, and action plans.
  • Effectively communicate the company's vision and value proposition to customers and vendors, enhancing the brand's reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to align with their business goals and market focus.
  • Assess current sales activities to identify strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with current and future growth objectives.
  • Stay informed on technological changes, market trends, and competitive pricing, playing a key role in identifying and developing new products for the market.
  • Establish annual goals, hire and train new associates, and focus on continuous improvement through coaching and performance evaluation.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or an Engineering discipline such as Chemistry or Instrumentation. An MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 15 years in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in the water industry, with a strong focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and effective issue resolution.
  • In-depth understanding of water analysis technologies, environmental regulations, and industry trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
