Key Account Manager (m/f/d) Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS)



Location: Our Office in Györ, Hungary or remote (home office in Hungary)

Brand: Weller (worldwide market leader in soldering)



Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EMS Account Manager to join our Weller team. This role focuses on managing relationships with EMS end-users, negotiating contracts, and participating in local and international tenders. The ideal candidate will excel in value selling and drive growth through strategic account management, business development activities and channel management as our EMS business is done through channel partners



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key EMS end-users in the designated region in Eastern Europe
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Lead contract negotiations with end user clients through distribution partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments
  • Articulate and demonstrate the value proposition of our Weller solutions to prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our services (with marketing and application engineers)
  • Develop and implement value-based selling strategies to differentiate our offerings from competitors
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify potential growth areas.
  • Engage with Weller local and Pan European distributors to grow the EMS business through our key distribution network.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contract details.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market trends.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.




Critical Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, a related field or relevant work experience
  • Experience in account management and good knowledge of the electronic manufacturing processes
  • Experience with local and international tender processes
  • Strong value selling skills with the ability to articulate the benefits of complex solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as required up to 75%
  • Fluent in English, German is a strong plus, any other local languages are a plus
